Cancelling your subscription
TradesOps is £9.99/month with a 30-day free trial. No lock-in, no contract, cancel any time from your account.
During the free trial
The first 30 days are free and you didn't have to enter a card to start. If you decide TradesOps isn't for you, do nothing — the trial simply ends. You won't be charged.
If you'd like to close the account down before then, open Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription and confirm. You'll keep dashboard access until the end of your trial, then the account goes read-only.
After you've moved onto the paid plan
Open Settings → Billing and tap Cancel subscription. TradesOps:
- Keeps your account active until the end of the current billing period (you've already paid for it).
- Stops the next £9.99 payment.
- Sends you a short confirmation email.
You'll keep sending and receiving customer emails, quotes and invoices right up to the end date. After that, your dashboard becomes read-only — you can still sign in, see the history, and export your data, but you can't create new enquiries, quotes, bookings or invoices.
What happens to my data?
Your data stays with us for 60 days after the account goes read-only, in case you want to come back. During that window you can:
- Sign in and export everything from Settings → Data export.
- Reactivate the subscription and pick up exactly where you left off.
After 60 days, personal customer data is removed permanently. Anonymised job records may be kept for accounting compliance under UK tax rules. See Data and privacy for the full detail.
Coming back later
If you resubscribe within the 60-day window, everything is where you left it — customers, quotes, invoices, Telegram pairing, Google Calendar link. If it's after the 60 days, you can start a new account with the same email; historic data won't return.
Refunds
We don't pro-rata refund partial months — you keep access for the time you've paid for. If there's a specific reason you'd like a refund considered (billing error, service outage), email help@tradesops.uk and we'll look at it case by case.
