Pricing, trial and billing
What TradesOps costs, how the trial works, and how to cancel.
The price
£9.99 per month, per business. Flat.
- No per-user or per-job fee.
- No transaction fee on quotes or invoices (Stripe's own card processing fee applies if you take card payments — see Taking card payments with Stripe).
- No upsell tier that unlocks more features. Every feature described in this help centre is included.
- VAT charged where applicable.
The trial
30 days free. No card required up front.
You get full access to every feature for 30 days from the moment you sign up:
- Unlimited enquiries
- Unlimited quotes and invoices
- Unlimited jobs
- Telegram bot
- Stripe Connect
- Google Calendar sync
At the end of the 30 days, TradesOps prompts you to add a payment method. If you don't, your account moves to a read-only state — you can log in, export data, and reactivate whenever you're ready, but you can't send new customer emails.
Add a payment method any time during the trial and your first charge doesn't happen until day 31. There's no early-commitment tax.
The bill
Billed monthly by Stripe. First charge on day 31 of your trial (or when you subscribe manually — whichever comes first). Then the same day every month thereafter.
You get a Stripe receipt by email each time. All receipts also live in your dashboard under Settings → Billing.
Cancellation
Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription. Instant, from the dashboard.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing month. You keep full access until then; the next bill doesn't happen.
Except where required by UK consumer law, monthly fees are not refundable — if you're on day 25 of a paid month and cancel, you keep access until day 30 and then it's over. No pro-rata refund on the days you didn't use.
Data after cancellation
TradesOps keeps your data for 30 days after cancellation so you can export it if you'd like. After 30 days it's deleted from active production; backups are retained for a further 30 days per our backup policy.

Price changes
If we ever change the £9.99 price, we tell you by email at least 30 days in advance. You can cancel before it takes effect.
Prices for teams / agencies
Currently one business per subscription. If you run multiple trade businesses (e.g. a limited company + a sole trader side hustle), that's two subscriptions.
